Hello! My name is Chelsea Hernandez and I am a wildlife pastel artist in Boise, Idaho. I love creating vibrant paintings with bold color! Pasteling is my passion. The thrill of producing a painting by making marks with a big stick of pigment will always excite and amaze me. I only use high quality pastels and high quality pastel paper.

Wildlife is so interesting and so colorful. I never run out of beautiful subjects to paint. I love to photograph my own reference photos when I can and living in Idaho gives me ample opportunities to photograph tons of different wildlife!
